Torales Landscaping is a landscaping service that services the Triangle Area in NC! Enrique, the owner, reached out to me with a couple of issues:
1. He did not have a Google page to reach more customers in the area, as well as make his business look more professional.
2. He did not have a website to display his services and allow people to contact him more efficiently.
3. He did not have an Invoice Sheet that displayed his business personality and information.
These 3 issues can cause a bad first impression for potential clients, even though Enrique has been in the business for over 10 years. I wanted people to be able to search and verify his business, view his services and business, and create a custom invoice that displays his business logo and contact information and makes the pricing clear.
Google Page:
I started by creating the Google Page. Luckily, Google makes it easy and free to start a Google page, so this did not cost my client any extra fees! After verifying the business, I added his services list, contact information, and images to help potential customers visualize his work. I than asked hm to share his Google page with his regular customers so they could review his business and add credibility.
Website:
I started with an in-person visit with Enrique to discuss what his needs and wants were for the website. I displayed some examples and a project proposal which included a timeline and pricing. I learned that he needed three main things: display his services, contact information and his previous work. After learning more about his business and his needs, I began by building his website on WIX.
To create a theme for the website, I drew a theme from his logo. I wanted a dark green as the main color to match the grass theme, and serif fonts to display elegance and professionalism. Invoice Sheet:
To create his Invoice Sheet, I first needed to know the full list of services he wanted to display and how to create the most efficient invoice for his business. After getting this information, I created a grid on Illustrator to display this information clearly and that matched his business colors/theme. I used the shape tools and guides to create an invoice sheet with even margins and form boxes.
Conclusion:
Ultimately, I created a website that displays his business effectively and visually appealing. This website will help people reach out to Enrique faster and know exactly what they need from him, knowing his full list of services. The Google page will verify his business and help people find him faster in specific locations. Finally, the invoice sheet helps Enrique display his services and costs more clearly to customers. These 3 tools will draw more customers in and keep them on a regular basis with unity and professionalism.
