I created a sharp, cutting-edge font using Illustrator representing Nordic history and style.
I started by conducting research on Nordic history and the style represented today. I found Vikings were very prominent in both. With Vikings in mind, I wanted every corner of each letter to be sharp to represent the word "sword." With that in mind, I created drawings on paper to start and then finalized them in Illustrator with the pen and pencil tool.
After some final touches, I finalized my design, used Fontself to create the font, and typed it out in Illustrator for this display!
