Lunar: An astrologer (Emily Blunt) has studied the stars her whole life, and believed she knew space like the back of her hand, until she discovers something new in the night sky: 4 beautifully aligned bright red moons. With the help of a historian (Keanu Reeves), they discover the history and power these moons hold; a power that has been searched after for centuries, but never obtained.
The Egyptians worshiped the Sun and thought all power came from it: Ra. But they were wrong... the greatest power comes from the four vertically aligned moons. Legend says, if you find them and touch the core of each moon's surface, you gain the power of Lunar. How do they keep this secret from the government, and will they gain the greatest power of all.. or die trying?

My goal for this project was to make the color red very bright and for the moon to be the focal point. I took 5 images, placed them into Photoshop and used clipping masks, layering and transparency techniques to create a composited image. At first glance, you get an idea of what the movie is about (space). I did this by making the moon the biggest piece in the poster and making the image crisp and bright. After taking a closer look at the tagline, you can see that this movie is sci-fi and "superpower" related. I made Emily Blunt and Keanu Reeves the stars because they have been in many sci-fi movies and would represent the movie well because of their popularity.
